Sound familiar? It’s probably the most common challenge in our busy, modern lives. Bombarded with information, experiences, sensations and emotions, our brilliant brains work constantly to process and make sense of it all – until we end up in constant overdrive. If you’ve wished you could quiet the chatter, focus more, feel calmer, or just get to sleep at night, like most of us, you probably need a bit of Headspace.
First of all, we promise there are no conference centres, name badges, hugging, or sandals (unless you want to wear sandals, in which case, be our guest – there’s absolutely no dress code). Our one-day events are held in plush venues like London’s BAFTA theatre, are relaxed, conversational, and practical. You’ll learn about what meditation is (the Headspace way - practical, accessible, bite-sized) and what it isn’t (about trying to stop your thoughts and live life in a bubble). You’ll grasp all the basic tools and techniques you need to bed-in an ongoing personal practice, And they’ll be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and talk about what you’d like to get out of it. By the end of the day you’ll be ready to go, so you won’t even need to attend another Headspace event - unless you’d like to, that is. Afterwards, you’ll have access to personalised online support, and all the tools and resources to help you get the most out of the experience.
