Meditation Events

Headspace event

At this intimate beginner's event you will learn all you need to know to get your meditation practice started, and walk away confident that you know exactly what you need to do to get some Headspace. For those of you who are already familiar with the Headspace techniques this event is the perfect opportunity to refresh your practice and ask Andy questions about your experiences.

There’s no mystery, no jargon and no religion. There’s no role play, no name badges and no group hugging! Best of all, Andy’s teaching is clear, simple and easy to follow.

Our exciting new partnership with the Royal Parks Foundation means you can get some Headspace at The LookOut, Hyde Park.

Research shows that getting out into nature can help reduce feelings of stress and tension, so this natural haven in the heart of London is the perfect setting for the live Headspace experience.

Included in the event

  • Tips, advice, guidance and support on how to make your daily meditation practice a reality - and all the inspiration you could need to get you started
  • A practical experience of meditation (don't worry, each one is short and sweet and we'll never ask you to meditate for longer than 10 minutes).
  • Fascinating stories from Andy (a self-proclaimed 'meditation mistake maker'!), on his experiences as a Buddhist monk.
  • Some of the most up-to-date research and ground breaking facts on the physical, psychological and emotional impact of a daily meditation practice.
He's open, likable, direct, the kind of man any mother would approvingly call 'down to earth'. He glows with health and energy and has an aura of natural charm. He also has two characteristics that distinguish him from most self-styled gurus: he is unaffected and most, and he is eminently qualified to teach his subject.

The LookOut

Our Headspace events are held at The LookOut, an idyllic indoor sanctuary set in the middle of Hyde Park. Accessible for all to escape the hustle and bustle of city life, it's designed to reflect the look and feel of a tree and the light and airy nature of the beautiful environment it sits in. Ideal for getting some Headspace.

The Royal Parks Foundation

From Marble Arch - walk towards The Reformers Tree Memorial (a mosaic, not a real tree). In front of you there is a small, dark brown wooden building with a turret on the top, this is the entrance to the The LookOut.

From Hyde Park corner - make your way to the Serpentine Road and head west. At the Serpentine Bar & Kitchen take a right towards the public toilets in the middle of the Park. The LookOut is on the left of the toilets. The entrance is on the north side so simply follow the boundary around until you come to the gatehouse, a small dark brown wooden building.

We encourage visitors to use public transport if they can. Please allow at least 15 minutes to walk from the edge of the Park to The LookOut.
